Moscow Exchange IFRS net profit rises 25% to 25 bln rbl in 2020
MOSCOW, Mar 5 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Moscow Exchange grew by 24.6% on the year to 25.17 billion rubles in 2020, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bourse said in a statement on Friday.
The adjusted net profit for the year grew by 13.8% to 25.2 billion rubles. Operating income went up 12.4% to 48.591 billion rubles, while operating expenses grew by 8.5%.
The net fee and commission income jumped by 30.9% to a record of 34.3 billion rubles, and the share of commission income in operating income grew to a record of 76% in October–December 2020 and to 71% in 2020. Net interest income decreased by 15.3% to 14.2 billion rubles.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 22.5% to 35.189 billion rubles in 2020. The adjusted EBITDA increased by 13.1% to 35.19 billion rubles, and the adjusted EBITDA margin gained 0.4 percentage points to 72.4%.
